WCAG 2.1 · LEVEL AALAST REVIEW · Q1 2026
Accessibility / Statement

Usable for every
learner.

The Tech Diversity Foundation targets WCAG 2.1 Level AA across every page — automated a11y scans on every PR, manual audits with assistive-technology users, fixes tracked as P1.

Our commitments.

AUDIT
axe DevTools on every PR
Automated a11y scans gate every pull request before merge.
CONTRAST
Minimum ratios enforced
Text meets 4.5:1 against background tokens; interactive controls meet 3:1.
KEYBOARD
Operable without a mouse
All interactive elements reachable and usable via keyboard alone.
SCREEN READER
Announced state changes
Dynamic content (modals, accordions, forms) announces state via ARIA.
ALT TEXT
Descriptive by default
Every image carries alt text; decorative images explicitly marked aria-hidden.
CAPTIONS
Video captions on a roll
Third-party video embeds get captions as we re-encode the library.

Known limits.

Third-party video embeds (Vimeo, YouTube) rely on player caption support that varies by upload. If a specific video is missing captions, email us and we'll prioritise re-encoding.
